Zombie Food

First, I have a post up at Seven Deadly Divas again. It’s almost like I do this every week!

Why I Will Be First to Die in the Zombiepocalypse

Second, I found an awesome recipe for salad dressing on the Fresh Market website (yoink). I used a salad shooter to mangle half an onion and used the pulp instead of bottled onion juice, and agave nectar instead of sugar. It worked great!

TFM Poppy Seed Dressing

    1 cup sugar
    2 teaspoons dry mustard
    2 teaspoons salt
    2/3 cup vinegar (I used balsamic)
    3 tablespoons onion juice
    3 tablespoons poppy seeds
    2 cups salad oil

Combine ingredients in a jar and shake well.

Toss with any combination of baby greens, sliced strawberries, crumbled feta, sliced almonds, goat cheese, blueberries, pecans, raw spinach, walnuts, and/or spring onions.

Way, way tastier than brains. Unless you’re a zombie.
